Good Girl GoGoGo is dedicated to the many wise women and men whose love and wisdom and ability to share their stories have helped me to find mine.

Carolann

...but how exactly does an ex-corporate fashion PR girl find a voice of her own?    As a self-dare and challenge to myself as a writer, and as a human being, I started Good Girl GoGoGo as an exercise in letting go...Letting go of pitching stories and finding stories instead... letting go of a painful story I kept inside... and letting go of the dis-ease that I permitted to define who I am [was]. Trading in cautious words for the honest, I've shed layers of corporate tongue twisters and blasted myself far beyond my comfort zone, and landed in a better place - one of joy and ease and gratitude.

Carolann Patterson has spent the past decade seeking and defining a new path to wellness for herself. While processing the trauma caused by the full-term stillbirth of her first child as well as other health complications, Carolann learned to embrace Grief and Health and their many challenges and blessings. Profoundly grateful for the healing wisdom of others, she launched her own blog about wellness and healing - www.goodgirlgogogo.com.

Carolann graduated Johns Hopkins University in 1987 and began her career at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She managed Public Relations for Giorgio Armani in Boston and Los Angeles before becoming Director of Communications for Ermenegildo Zegna, USA. Carolann moved to London and set up her own marketing consulting firm and represented Ham Polo Club. She moved back to the states in 2008 and consulted for the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival before launching Good Girl GoGoGo. She is a communications consultant and lives in Old Lyme, CT with her son and their Lab Rebel, a red dog whose enthusiasm for life knows no bounds.
